FAQ

What does Baz actually do?

Baz runs agents across the development lifecycle: they review an implementation plan before code exists, review the pull request that implements it, look for security issues, fix findings, and judge whether a change is ready to merge. Findings arrive as comments on your changes and as check results.

Where do I start?

Connect your provider with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps, then follow Getting Started for the recommended three-week ramp-up.

Do I have to use the Baz web app?

No. Baz works from your provider’s pull requests, from your coding agent through the plugin, and from the terminal through the CLI. The web app is where configuration, sessions, and dashboards live.

Can Baz run without our code leaving our infrastructure?

Yes. See Enterprise Hosting for Private Mode and self-hosted deployments, and Security, Privacy and Compliance for how data is handled.
