What uses Engineering Work Credits?
Engineering Work Credits are used for high-model engineering work. This includes Fixer sessions, Advanced Security, Spec Reviewer, AI SRE, and future agents that perform similar engineering work.
What does not use Engineering Work Credits?
Standard AI code review does not use Engineering Work Credits. Custom reviewers, normal review comments, integrations, automations, dashboards, and analytics are included in the seat-based subscription unless otherwise specified in your agreement.

1 credit = $0.01.
How much does a typical session cost?
Typical costs depend on the agent and the complexity of the work. Based on current usage data, Fixer sessions typically cost about $1.00 to $4.30, Advanced Security Reviewer sessions typically cost about $1.75 to $2.20, and other high-model sessions typically fall around $1.00 to $2.50.
How should we estimate our monthly credit budget?
For most teams, use $20 to $50 per active developer per month as the planning range. $20 per developer per month is a conservative year-one estimate; $50 per developer per month is a full-adoption estimate for human-triggered usage. Usage above that range usually means automation or pipeline-triggered workflows.
Can we see spend before it becomes a surprise on the invoice?
Yes. Account Settings shows current usage against your organization and per-user limits as sessions run, broken down by agent work, including Fixer costs. When a limit is reached, Baz stops running additional credit-eligible work until the limit is updated, so a limit acts as a hard ceiling rather than a warning.
Can we buy Baz through AWS Marketplace?
Yes. Baz is listed on the AWS Marketplace, so you can subscribe using your existing AWS billing and committed spend instead of a separate invoice.
